Ok everyone...ya wanna know what kinda music I'm into? Well...here it is! Yes, I like some of the teenybopper stuff but it's good and fun so...I don't care what you think!! LOL!! Anyways, let's get started:
The Backstreet Boys
Click pic for larger
view They also went on tour and performed in a number of cities. If you haven't seen the Boys live...make plans to do that this year during their summer tour!! I've had the chance to see them twice in concert...once at the Kiss108 Concert 19 in Mansfield, Mass. and also their own show with opening act Aaron Carter in Providence, RI and lemme tell you....it was an experience I will NEVER forget!! (You can see pics from the RI concert in the "Concert Experiences" section) The Backstreet Boys put on an incredible live performance with slick dance moves and a high-energy light show!! I can't wait to see them again this year from the front row!! The Boys have been working on a new album, "Millennium", which hits stores May 18th...make sure ya pick it up...I know it's going to be worth it!! You can already hear their first single off that new album, "I Want It That Way", on select radio stations around the country and also you can find the wav. of it on the internet on one of the VERY many fan sites! Admiral Twin
Because of strange happenings...(more on it in "Concert Experiences")...Stefanie, Taylor and I became friends with Jarrod Gollihare and he's not only a very talented musician/singer/songwriter but he's also a very patient and a very nice guy!! We can't wait to meet the whole band when we go to see them on their tour!! Their music is nothing like Hanson, even though they did tour with them. I say it's a cross between (I know this is a weird combination but...) The Beatles/Dave Matthews Band/Green Day/The Monkees...don't ask but that's what I think!! LOL!! Their independant album, "Unlucky", is really cool!! From the rockin' "Box Under His Bed" to the Monkees-like "I'm No King", it's filled with well-written songs and slick harmonies!! Definitely worth ordering!!! They're really awesome and I know everyone is going to love them!!! So when their debut album comes out...take a listen to it...I know you'll like it!! In the mean time, you can check out their official web site! Just click here!

LeAnn Rimes
![]() Originally from Mississippi, she now has a home in Dallas, Texas and Sherman Oaks, California. Her first album, "Blue", went straight to number 1 along with her follow-up albums: "Unchained Melody/The Early Years", "You Light Up My Life/Inspirational Songs" and "Sittin' On Top of The World". She also co-wrote a semi-autobiography with Tom Carter called "Holiday In Your Heart", played the leading role in the made-for-tv movie that was based on that book and is now taking acting classes along with working on 2 new albums: a classic country album and a pop album. She recently did a duet with Elton John on his song, "Written In The Stars" which was written for his Broadway Musical "Aida". LeAnn has won countless awards, broken many music records and has established herself as a true diva in the music industry. Her voice is un-mistakable and once you hear it, you won't believe it! She definitely does not sound 16!!! Unfortunately, I have never had the chance to see her in concert (Tara has!! lol) but the second she comes to this area...I am there!! LOL!! She has been a MAJOR inspiration to me and I would love to meet her some day!! She has definitely had an influence on my own singing!! People have even told me I sound like her! Yeah, I wish!! LOL!! But hey...that would be awesome so if some people think that, great!! Actually...out of all the singers, I probably DO sound the most like her...only because I've sung her songs so many times!! LOL!! If you don't have one of her albums, pick one up!! They're all great!! (But my personal fave is "Sittin' On Top of The World") Here'a a link to her official web site. Pictures of LeAnn |
![]() Isaac (18), Taylor (16) and Zachary (13)....known as Ike, Tay and Zac to their fans....are from Tulsa, Oklahoma. They come from an extremely musical family and it's also a large one!! They have 7 kids in their family!! The others are all younger: Jessica (10), Avery (8), Mackenzie (5) and Zoe (1)....(and they are SOOOOO stinkin' cute!!!) Their parents, Walker and Diana, started them harmonizing around the dinner table when they were very young. Isaac wrote his first song in 1st grade when they were living in South America. Together, they started making tapes of all the songs they were writing and also of the harmonies they were perfecting. In 1994, the guys traveled to Austin, Texas to attend "South By SouthWest"....a major music conference that is a week long and filled with lectures and concerts. It was here that they met entertainment lawyer, Christopher Sabec...who in a year would become their manager. In 1996, they were signed on to Mercury Records and their first single, "MMMBop", went straight to number one and was "Song of the Year" in 1997. Their debut album, "Middle of Nowhere", was also a big smash with some great Hanson hits like: "Where's The Love?", "I Will Come To You", "Weird" and "Man from Milwaukee"....along with the popular "MMMBop" and many other great songs!! Since then, they have released a Christmas album, an early years album intitled "3 Car Garage"...which has songs from their independant albums and they also released their live album, "Live from Albertane" which contains all your favorite Hanson songs live and rocking, straight from their '98 Albertane World Tour. I've had the chance to see Hanson twice in concert...once in Boston in 1997, (you can see how that concert was in "The Flayr Hotline")...and also at Great Woods in Mansfield, Mass on June 26th, 1998. They put on an AWESOME live show....if you can hear it over the little girls screaming!!! LOL!!!! Yes...the fans can be SOOOOO annoying but Hanson DOES have the talent and their shows are REALLY good!!!! They are great singers/musicians/songwriters...(my dad is a musician and even HE thinks they are good!!)...and they also seem like really nice guys!! Their new album comes out the end of this year and I hope you guys check it out!! In the mean time...take a glimpse at their website: www.hansonline.com
